Pirat Parc has added a new coaster for this year, and unlike everything else on the site this one is not built on a base frame. Gold Mine (#1222) is fixed into the ground using proper concrete supports and footers, and the layout crosses over and around the ferris wheel, the carousel, and the midway. In short, it has clearly been custom designed for the space, and the result is superb, easily the best coaster of the evening.
