Au lieu de se fier à la vidéo, voilà un avis concret d'un mec ayant ridé les 'deux' Intimidator 305 :
Les ralentissements sont donc bien notables... Sauf sur la fin qui a l'air plus intense, dû au retirage des autres trims.

First drop - Alright, awesome, we're getting on the ride, woohoo, wait........why is it slowing down so much. AH!
The famous blackout turn - this is nowhere near as intense as it used to be, only in the very back seat do I gray out a bit when it used to be every seat was a super intense experience.
125 or so foot hill - Worst part, now its super slow, you don't fly out of your seat and its just dissapointing now if you've ridden this ride in its prime.
4 turns - they are still good and pretty intense, but man, they used to just be a brutal thrill and they are noticably less intense.
70 or so foot hill - well, actually feels slightly faster believe it or not, you come out of your seat a little bit more
left turn drop - wow, this is actually a little more intense than it used to be
small drop into the brake ramp - again, slightly more intense than it used to be.
Overall - Only the back seat and the front seat is any good anymore during the best parts which are the first 2/3s of the ride anyway. When it used to be any seat was a thrilling intense experience. I actually liked graying out on this ride a bit because no other ride made me do that, but unfortunately, thats mostly gone now. The front seat is still a great ride because the ride overall is slightly longer and you get lots of wind in your face but I was HIGHLY dissapointed how the ride changed. I could understand it though but I can at least say I rode this about 50 times when this ride was the bomb. Now, I don't even know if this is better than Griffon, which was my 2nd favorite rollercoaster.

Just rode the coaster today on 5/31/10. They've at least removed most of the brakes from the drop! I myself actually couldn't see any trims while on the first drop. But, I did notice that theres not the airtime there used to be on the 2nd hill. The entire ride is much better than the first change and almost as good as how it originally is.
Theres 2 possible reasons for this change. The first and most likely is they are experimenting with the ride. The feedback was probably negative with the tremendous amount of trims so they removed most of it. Theres a chance it might go back to how it originally was (which would be the best result).
The 2nd possible reason is that they remove most of the trims on days of high guest count. Today there was a huge amount of guests compared to friday 5/28/10 I went there. So, maybe they give people close to the real deal on high number guest days and add the brakes on low capacity guest days. I FIND THIS REASON HIGHLY UNLIKELY THOUGH.
But, looks like things are going good and they are tweaking the ride to how they think would be best.
